A while back, we created a RSS coupon feed for our in-house affiliate program pre-coded with affiliate-id & coupon code. Now, we’re back with more RSS feeds.

This time it’s the pre-coded RSS product data feed for our fine jewelry products. This one has your ShareASale affiliate links.

What does this feed contain?

• Apart from the standard fields like name, description, price, the RSS feed contains pretty detailed information relevant to jewelry, for example, shipping option, diamond & gemstone information, product weight etc.

• Up-to-date info of our fine jewelry products
• Pre-coded with your ShareASale affiliate links
• Can get an individual category feed or the entire feed

Example:

• This is the link for the silver bracelets category: montred.com/rss-category-44-bracelets.xml?sasaffid=YOURSASID
• This is the link for the entire product feed (a pretty big file): montred.com/rss-category-all.xml?sasaffid=YOURSASID

Just make sure that you replace YOURSASID with your ShareASale affiliate id.

As you can see above, the affiliate code (affid=999) and the coupon code (cc= GNEF3712) are included in the URL.

Here is the link to our coupon feed: http://www.montred.com/affiliates/tools/feeds/rss.php?affid=999. In this link, you simply have to replace ‘999’ with your affiliate-id.

So what’s the big deal about this feed? First, with this RSS feed, you get the up-to-date coupon info. No stale info, no expired coupons.

Second, compared to a small number of merchants/networks who provide RSS coupon feeds, MontRED’s RSS feed is pre-coded with the tracking-id (your affiliate-id).

So go ahead and add this link to your favorite RSS reader (MyYahoo, GoogleReader, firefox etc). But don’t forget to replace ‘999′ in the link with your own affiliate-id.
